Late game storage

I havnt played in a while so I dont know if anything like this exists already but, the last time i played, I got to the end game of what was developed and storage was pretty much a mess. I had like 100 storage containers. At late game it would be nice if they could make a spacial storage box or something that can hold a few thousand items each. The boxes themselves dont actually have anything in them when you place stuff, they just act as a data storage where anything you put in the box shows up as stacked numbers like, 1000 iron, 498 aluminum and so on.

Depending on how long ago you played, they did add a t2 locker, doesnt hold that much, but does hold alot more, you get it through the trading rockets. (and if you add the stacking mod it can hold a whole lot more depending on what you set your stacks to.

oh I played with the t2 storage I think. dont remember a stacking mod though. Maybe I just didn't unlock that or something. Gonna check that out thanks.

Is the stacking mod an in-game modification to craft or an actual mod I have to download somewhere? If its an outside mod then thats what the post was about, I wish they had the stacking in the late game to craft.

There is no place in the game where you need 1000 of something at once. My machines and drones are fast enough to replace most things as fast as I can use them. If they need to catch up, I just go do something else for a while.

Actually, when I get drones I replace most of my cupboards with blue chests. I don't need such big stocks any more.

for the most part I don't bother with building lockers except near my and sometimes not even then. I just fnd it's easier to dump it on the ground. on previous playthroughs I had an area beside the labyynth that I stashed all my waste ores, until I completly buried the housing unit I'd put there, and in another I dropped an iron square for each thing I was storing, and put fences around em, (it helped a bit not much) and called it my Aldi's
