easiest products for terra-tokens
What do You produce to get terra tokens? Im still relatively early in the game, dont have drones, dont have products unlocked via terra tokens, but from what I see few basic products are actually pretty much efficient enough to utilise them for trade. I sell three things: iridium rods, super-alloy rods and bacteria.

Iridium rods are the easiest to produce - they require only iridium (x9), but pre T3 Ore Extractors (I still dont have them) massive production ends in large quantity of additional resources.

From this perspective super-alloy rods seem better in terms of T2 Ore Extractor usage - everything they produce is properly used, but the downside is that supply of resources is random, so at some point we may have way too much of one resource and not enough of same resource later.

So, at the end of the day, bacteria samples seem best choice in terms of resources efficiency. It uses only algae and water - both resources are easily produced. I still havent figured proper ratio between algae generators and water collectors to make it as efficient as possible, but it is not that much of a problem. Also, another benefit of bacteria samples are that they can be produced in central area.

Do You use low tier products to get terra tokens or do you wait for more sophisiticated tech? Im just starting fabric production, which also seems nice with only 2x silk needed for 1 item, but obviously production of silk is slightly more difficult / time consuming, at least early on.

We used...

- Iridium rods - you can get the material easily from the meteors
- Uran rods - see above
- Fabric - as soon as you have the farm for it. easy to produce.
- Bacteria - this one we sold the most. at the beginning we produced them by hand. But later on we got some drones and Auto-crafters doing it for us.

Once I get to T3 extractors:
Osmium (10-ish)
Zeolite (6-8)
Iridium & uranium (4-6)
6 T2 gas extractors pulling methane

Autocraft pulsar quartz
Autocraft fusion cells
Sell the cells. I'd get about ~1200 per run.

Bacteria, High quality food and Fabric are easiest, imo, and since Fabric is the most valuable of the three - I went for it. My setup is just 8 silk machines surrounded by 4 T2 production optimizers and 1 autocrafter - stocks up 3 trade rockets (with flight time reduced by 4 fuses) pretty quickly.

If something falls from the sky it is always good, but it does not happen frequently. And meteors other than rocket-forced are random. Uranium seems okay, though I still dont have T3 extractors, and it is really dull to work with excess resources.

Well, this is cool, though very advanced setup. I have to wait for T2 gas and T3 ore extractors. Im very near fusion cells level.

By the way: where do I extract zeolite?

High quality food is honey + standard food? I need to buy recipe, I guess.

4x T2 optimizers all filled with production capacity fuse? I still dont know if these fuses overlap, I mean in few times same fuse in one optimiser adds bonus few times?

Zeolite cave is south west of the starting area, you go through the osmium cave with the entrances next to the steep hill ship and the sulfur fields.

There are also direct entrances to the zeolite cave in the meteor crater and in the arches biome which is above sand falls

High quality food is honey+beans, unlocks with 15KG Biomass

High quality food unlocks at a certain insect level, check out the Biomass interface in the T1 Biodome.
Yup, 4x T2 optimizers all filled with production capacity fuses - and they do indeed overlap.
E.g. my silk generators produce silk every 50 seconds instead of default 200 seconds.

Ok, thanks!

So this is a 300% faster. Nice. I think I have just one prod.cap fuse, guess I need to buy them for terra tokens ;-P

Hehe, you can as well find them during the portal wreck runs. They mostly appear in rarity 5 wrecks in my experience. I don't think I bought a single one of those fuses - got all of them from the wrecks.

Cool. So I will wait for portal as well, since early sales via trade rocket are not very effective. I guess it will jump after using drones and bit of automation, now it is more like a chore with limited return ;-P

I find the easiest products to be fuses from the portal wrecks. The cheap ones go for 2.5k a pop, the best are 5-6k each. Hit a rarity 5, difficulty 5 to average the most you can.

Of course, I'm good at mazes, even 3D mazes, so I don't take long to sweep the good loot. Come back with 3-6 fuses per trip and make bank.

Though this is more an end-game solution, since getting to wrecks come really late. But I got the point ;-)

when i first got the trade rocket, and drones, I had some extra plankton + water production setup, near an autobuilder. made bacteria samples and had the rockets sell those
its only like 6 each, so its slow and kind of pitiful

but, it was not that hard to setup, kind of baby step practice for later. and it was something I cuold do really early without worrying if was using important resources

late game, the pink crystal things.

late late game, i explored ships for fuses and sold fuses for like 5k each

ps -- so, late game, the t3 autominer, you can select which ore you get, and just setup 1 each for the ores used in super alloy. and then you dont have to worry about having 50 cobalt but no titanium.

but, before that point, you can just have like basic auto miners, and then every once in a while, when you're back at base, like when you're stocking back up on food + water maybe.... drop off your inventory somewhere (just to get extra carry space), then goto all your autominers, and just take everything in their inventory and shove it into a shredder.

cause, chances are, those things will fill up with too much of some resource or 2. You could take time to figure out which ones, and make sure to only destroy the ones you have extra
but, just emptying the autominers out, and making space, is quicker and easier and you can do mindlessly, which sometimes is good
