Same with honey in the bee farms. The farm will fill up with bees and no more honey is made until you empty them.
Everything is perfectly unlocked.
Sure the collectors are full but they have eggs in their storage along with plankton.
The eggs were not being picked up. And of course the eggs were unlocked because I had demand set for them specifically at another locker.
So the collector is set to supply, Plankton A, B, & C, plus those eggs, right?
And you have storage set to demand Plankton A, B, & C, plus those eggs, right?
And none of the storage containers are full?
And you have enough drones?
If the storage is full, you need a shredder set to demand Plankton A, B, & C, plus those eggs, but at -1 priority. This clears out the stuff you have too much of and lets the ones you need more of make their way to the storage.
Lots to go wrong, but once you get all the details right, it has always worked for me.
i had lockers (which were full) set to demand plankton.
i h ad another locker (empty) set to demand the provios eggs
no eggs were transferred.
when i went to the collectors and changed supply from "everything" to just eggs, then they were transferred to the locker in question
Ah, I never use the supply everything except for the auto crafters. There might be some kind of bug there where it sees something in the list it can't deliver and then doesn't check the rest of the list of items. I'm thinking the "everything" is really just a list of all known things at the time it was set, not actually "everything".
Stuff like this is why the game I'm working on has all assets in place and I've been spending the last nine months ironing out logistics issues.
