Whining about volcanic remote wreck biomes

Am I the only one who hates these with a burning passion? (no pun intended)

I wanted to do a quick wreck run before bed, went to a 1/1 that turned out to be a volcanic biome, and gave up trying to find the wreck. It's probably inside a rock. Which was where I was, a few times. On the plus side, I got three green quartz and a purple out of chests. On the minus side, I never did find that wreck.

Did you try spamming F4 to see if it was visible from above, or was it straight up just invisible?

From my limited experience, (3 lava biomes) they tend to hide the volcanic wrecks kind of underground. You have to look around the lava pits for rock outcroppings that hide the entrances to the wrecks. Admittedly a pain to find, but they're there.

They are very hard to find took me 20 minutes to find the wreck first Volcano bio. it was way
under a large Rock Plato so dame hard to find.

With the lava biomes, I search for a bit and, if I find no wreck, just exit and create a new biome. It's not like there are a limited number or anything... :-)

That's what I've been doing. But they still annoy me.

there were two wrecks in the one i went to last night... we need bigger backpacks cause they get full after looting like half of one wreck. and these wrecks are huge and mazelike.

I just went to my first volcanic wreck and am pretty disappointed (and confused) as well. Its a 3/3 if I recall, took quite a few crystals to open the portal, and the loot there was disappointing. Barely any crystals (I think 3), a few fuses, and mostly just flares. Only one wreck, and it had four door access cards located inside, but only one door that required it. So I spent the better part of an hour looking to see if there were other wrecks in the area, but nada - just the one.

The maps are always the same, and the wrecks are always in the same places on the map. The only variation is whether or not each wreck actually spawns, and obviously the wreck itself is random once you go inside.

Lava is a relatively small and flat map, and it can have up to 3 wrecks. (Maybe more, I have only ever found 3, though)

Eventually you memorize all of the maps and can just run straight to each potential wreck spawn.

For lava wrecks the clue to find them is to look for some antenna or small part of the ship at the top of the hill. If there is such a piece visible, then the entrance is below that hill next to lava.
