Thanks for the feedback,
The music of the game should not trigger any claims.
We are investigating this right now, and hopefully we'll be able to fix it asap.
---------------------------------------
I should have included this with the original message.
The following copyrighted songs were what was claimed to be detected during stream:
Open Space by Benjamin Young - detected once
Steady Progress by Benjamin Young - detected twice
Thank you taking notice of this so quickly.
Thanks for that detail. Those songs are indeed included in the game. However, nobody should have a copyright claim over them, since they were legitimately purchased for the game. Does the message give you any clue who made the claim ? Is there any mention of Kid Katana Records ?
Typical scammer on Twitch/Youtube, they'll submit music that isn't theirs that they claim is theirs to Twitch/Youtube, then when they hit you with a copyright strike, your video will be flagged and any money you make from the video via ads and such will go to them instead of you. On Twitch though they mute the video and no income is generated, youtube will normally keep the audio unless the video is not monetized, which they will then mute.
It was not really a claim. What it is is a warning from Twitch saying they detected copyrighted material. No DMCA claim was made. But my VOD autopublishing was turned off and the sections of the VOD with that music was muted by twitch.
So to be clear, I do not have DMCA claims but twitch's content system detected copyrighted material and decided to take automated action to mute the sections and issue a warning.
Thank you for taking a look into this. The game is wonderful and the music that was chosen really does help color the world. Would hate to not be able to share the full vision of the game during streams.
