Which is better, T2 Food Grower or Garden?
The reason I ask is

1. T2 food grower grows at 1.1 rate, which is a bit quicker than the T1.
2. Gardens can grow 5 of each plant, but it doesn't say if it grows at T1 or T2 rates

So with ONE garden I can grow 5 plants, and I would have to build 5 T2 Food growers to do the same.

I have a row of 4 T2s growing beans 4 beans, and 3 gardens growing 15 beans.

I feel that the T2s churn out the beans faster, or is this just misinterpreting things?

I don't recall the gardens having and Growth Rate, or Production Time (in Seconds) on their info panel when you mouse over them.

Do people prefer the Gardens or T2 Food growers?

Gardens, especially at end game when you are needing lots of bioplastic and fertilizers. Less seeds needed, can be outdoors, adds to terraforming progress, etc

I think the gardens look better. They have bees and butterflies hanging around, unlike the food growers. However, the food growers are obviously designed for indoor use, which makes sense to me.

just put a storage container set to demand food somewhere, drones will do all the legwork and you'll probably end up with more than you can use.

Gardens, all the way.

Even if the gardens grow at T1, you are growing 5 crops per T1 cycle which is way more crop than growing one at T2 cycle.

Not sure which it uses, but I've found that it grows fairly quickly, so I'm inclined to believe it's T2 rates. Either way, you get 5 at once, AND the Outdoor Farm produces a small amount of insects which is better than 0 insects that the grower produces.
