Stuck "saving in progress"
Hello!

I'm trying to save the game as normal, and quit for the day. The save usually takes only a fraction of a second. I'm afraid I'm going to lose a ton of building progress on a new large base.

Anyone seen this, any ideas?

Cheers!

Had it earlier today. I had an appt & had to leave, so I crossed my fingers & quit. When I got home, I checked to see how much I had lost, but all was as I had left it

I did notice that message yesterday, once, in my Steam library listing for the game.
Never seen it before.
Might be more a Steam issue as I know they recently pushed a bunch of client fixes, more than they usually do.

I noticed no impact to my game though, and have not seen the message since.

Same here, it seem the save worked fine. After reloading the game, it saved normally.

Yep, this happened to me as well earlier today. I panicked a bit as I was at 3-something TTi and thus close to the endgame. I quit out of the game and reloaded, crossing my fingers, and it loaded fine. I call shenanigans at Steam's end. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.

I saw it this morning and left it sitting there for 10-15 minutes until I needed to head out, so quit the game. This was just after the last update so I thought the text had changed. But I noticed when loading it earlier that the text went back to Game Saved, so not sure what the Saving in Progress message means or why it gets stuck on that message even though the save completes okay.
