OK I'm probably being dumb but how do you get the resources out the miner?
I've placed 2 T2 Miners and they are sufficiently powered but where do i see the ores?

there should be a blue storage box at the top of the stairs...

the ores seem to be random, but I have yet to mine any iridium, etc... not sure what to do about that since my supply is depleting from farming just about all of it. If anyone else can chime in on the other ores and how to get the miner to mine them would be appreciated.

Thanks Krok, just realised my own mistake /facepalm I'm mixing up "drill" for "miner"!

Well, like I tell Jussie Smollet, people make mistakes...dont beat yourself up over it...
On another note, I learned theres a miner in the game? So that small apparatus with the blue storage box is a drill? Or am I missing something?

I posted some public screenshots if that helps. The drills I've been building are the ones that raise the pressure. I was thinking (incorrectly) they also give you materials.

You cannot mine for Iridium, Uranium, Sulphur, or Osmium. There is a way of getting Iridium and Uranium but I'll let you discover that for yourself. Osmium and Sulphur are finite resources.

Yup, figured out the Iridium, however, still havent quite figured out Osmium yet. Found the Sulphur too and theres plenty of that.

Actually, drills will produce resources but only when they take the form of Gas Extractors. A T1 extractor will provide, randomly, methane, nitrogen and oxygen. A T2 allows you to select which gas to provide. In both cases you just click on the extractor to remove.

Drills don't produce resources. Gas extractors are a different thing.

Note how old this thread is: over two years old. (IMO it ought to be locked for out-of-date-ness)

T2 and T3 Ore Extractors can mine for iridium, uranium, etc. You just need to set them up in the proper places. The caves where you found those resources in the first place will generally be good.

Yikes - good to note the thread origin - when it popped up as a recent, I neglected to check date of original post. My mistake.
On the other hand : word play over extractors and drills is kinda cheesey.
And the excavator posts were put up very, very early in the early access, and clarified long ago so what's the point.
