So i know your supposed to put these extractors on certain colored land. Could i get a couple screen shots of this " colored land" you all speak of? Guess im confused.

No clue what you mean by colored land. You might want to check the Planet Crafter wiki. It contains the information what materials where to mine.

Build a rocket launch platform (sorry, I forget what it's called) and use its screen to check what rockets are available. One or more will help you.

In the meantime, just put an extractor on random open ground and see what's available, then put one in any area that looks like it has a lot of a particular mineral.
