Where do I find bee larva?

I just got the blueprint got bee hives, but how can I get larva without a hive? The logical place would be around the flower or grass spreaders, but so far no luck.

If you have unlocked the recipe you can make bee larvae in the incubator. After that, the second tier beehives will make their own.

First you have to unlock the Incubator (5 GTi Terraformation) and the Bee Larva recipe (8 GTi Terraformation). After that, just grab up all the Uncommon Larva you find laying around the ground. The other two recipe components you craft at the Biolab (unlocked at 835g Biomass).

you can find premade butterflies but there's nowhere on the map that spawns premade bees (at least not yet) so like others have said you'll have to make them yourself in the incubator.

Lol, so unlocking the beehive at 700MTi means you have to wait a looong time to actually build one. :(

Beehive is unlocked based on Plant Biomass (80 tons of it, specifically), not TI. The general assumption is that you'll have hit the TI requirement for the incubator or bee larva recipes around the same time as you hit the Plant Biomass requirement for the T1 hives.
