Pink Storm
These things are happening a lot lately and they drive me crazy. Might have anything to do with me not being a fan of any kind of weather event, but still - they're strange. I know sand storms, sun storms, meteor events obviously, but this one I can't make any sense of. Everything including the sky has a pink hue, you hear the sound of wind/storm, and that's it. And no, it's not a Pulsar Quartz meteor event.

Does anyone know what this is supposed to be?!

You can also get a super alloy meteor storm from a pink sky. There are numerous "fake outs" as the planet evolves. You probably just experienced one of them.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Only that they happen really often lately; earlier today I had two in five minutes. They just don't make any sense and I hate it when things don't make sense (... she said while playing a game where a planet is terraformed with the help of a Mary-Poppins-backpack and a magical hand-gun...)

I was not aware the wiki had been updated, thanks. Unfortunately the author doesn't explain what causes this Eclipse (so a "fake out" as shmullster stated seems likely).

As a side note, I don't think I've ever seen a Solar Eclipse... Or rainstorm for that matter. I suppose I should get out more. (Spoiler: I won't. 😅)

Ah, yes. My internal world is a complex and fascinating place...

There are a couple different storms that they have happen, that dont do anything other than change the sky color. I'll usually run out look around at the sky to check for meteors and when there are none, go back in to what I was doing lol.

I usually check the map to see if it is a meteor and where it comes down, all the while hiding in my base (in my cave), lol

If a meteor storm starts (i.e. the sky changes color) but no meteors actually appear, particularly if you're at your base, try quickly heading away from your current location about 500-1000m, and the meteors should start to spawn.

There is an achievement 'Not the Face' you get from being hit by a meteor ;) Just saying. :pengwing:
One of my proudest achievements, didnt hurt at all. Actually it kind of tickled. lol.

I know, I got that a good while ago by accident (literally) and was lucky it didn't kill me (it was next to my base, but still annoying).
