"Tricky at the beginning, I'd think. "You starve!" "NO! You starve!" "Gimme that space food right now or I'll disassemble you with this wonder gun."
A version of multi player I'd really enjoy would be the ability to visit other player's planets. I've played other games that had this option in which players could upload their "world save" and you could visit online with an ID code or even just randomly travel to one. It would provide a lot of impetus for players to build cool things on their planets if others could visit and wander around on them. Mega stations, rain forests, stairways to the moons, whatever. My own tourist destination planet would be such fun to have people visit. It would be cool not to be making all these attractions and signs and cool bungalows for someone besides myself.
Guess we'll see how this is implemented. In any case, the devs have clearly worked hard on this aspect of the game. I'm hoping we get mammals first though. ;)
