need help, stuck in the ancient city before ice melted, how do i get out?

I was climbing the mountain using T2 jetpack and accidentally get into the ancient city area. The cave path to this area hasn't been opened yet. Once I got in, there is no air but water everywhere. I died many times and finally open the castle door but still no air. So I saved and reload, and now there is oxygen but my jetpack doesn't work anymore.

I am now inside the ancient city with no path out and my jetpack doesn't work no mater how many times I reload the saved game. Any suggestions on how should I get out?

Press the F4 function key repeatedly. Each press will raise you by 1m. Make sure you don't move yourself so far up that you die from fall-damage.

If the ice hasn't melted for the entrance, not sure how to help you get out. If I remember correctly, the jetpack does not work in the Ancient City.

The jetpack wasnt meant to work in that area, so reloading wont fix that. I would do what Pesky suggested.
