Also, are you using the best jetpacks and jumpboots available to you? They will speed up your trips.
Don't stockpile things that are hard to get at this stage.
And drones are the eventual answer. Once you get them, you can really build up some stockpiles, and you'll spend less time gathering resources.

As soon as I could actually craft the damned pulsar quartz, I went from "no amount of uranium can possibly be enough" to "ah yes, useless green rocks" in about 3 seconds. I held off on teleporters until then, because I'd have needed about 50 additional uranium rods to replace the power output of my two fusion reactors. The main bottleneck was always the amount of T2 nuclear reactors I was able to craft, eventually I had about 20 and still was constantly starved for power. It was very frustrating when I unlocked teleports, only to realize just HOW FAR down the line of progression the craftable quartz was.
After getting really annoyed by manually jetpacking between mining setups on a constant basis, I built a shredder machine next to each set of T2 ore extractors so I could clear out the worthless basic materials, and autocrafters for turning the actually useful ores into rods to cut the amount of trips down. That at least made ore runs take 30% of my time, instead of 90%. Not sure what the point of ore extractors for basic materials would be, when all the basic materials are essentially useless by that stage of the game.
The disparity between fusion reactor + teleporter unlocks and the quartz recipe unlock just feels like artificial padding in an otherwise not very grindy game.
Put a shredder by the far away miners, and destroy the resources you don't need. This will let you bring back more of what you do need.
