Trouble Picking up Algae

I'm having trouble focusing on items and drinking way more now than before. But no matter what I try, I cannot pick up algae from the pond. I started this game the other day when the updates started on the developmental branch. So this is a newer game. I have no mods.

I'm not totally sure what the issue is. Are you swimming in the water under the generators? Are you unable to click the algae?

Hello,

The update added a little change :
Algae can only be harvested when reaching 50% growth or more.

Wait a bit more, and you should be able to pick it up.
There should be a label saying "not ready yet" when algae are not ready

When I hover over the item to click it and put it in the inventory NOTHING HAPPENS. I've been played for months and finished it over and over again. I know how the game works so I'm not stupid and just don't understand controls. I cannot pick up the algae anymore. I could three updates ago though.

It appears to be full grown and I do not get that message at all.

In my case, I cannot open the algae farms.

They are not meant to be open. Algae grow in the water around them.

Please send Brice your save and Player.log, right after you tried picking up the algae. See FAQ for the log/save location.

I think Bots can pick them Up if you just Demand Algae right?

I'm not at that stage yet. I had to deconstruct them. Leave the game. Verify files. Reboot, then reconstruct them to get them to work. Now I get a message saying it's not ready and when it says Algae it lets me pick it up where as it didn't before.
