Where to place the water life collector

so i unlocked the first fish egg and placed 2 collectors in different positions, but besides plankton i dont get zip. Has anyone got some eggs yet? And if so, where did you place your collector?

Which location are you calling the Teleport Gate. I am drawing a blank on that one.

That's the location in the northeast (top right) corner of the map where the large circular feature sticks up out of the desert, later on it gets covered in plants and has a large lake under it.

I have "created" each fish type via the incubator. It can be a vary tedious process, but it can be accomplished using just the incubator. I have also found the following fish in various areas; Ecaru (325%) at the star gate and canyon biomes, Tegede (300%) in the Zeolite cave and crater lake, Tiloo (400%) at the water fall biome, and Buyua (350%) in the Paradise Valley biome. {/spoiler]

Thanks now just move the useless eggs to deconstructors via drone and then its farm central. Or you could move them to storage and recycle them for muts and fertilizer....

I made all of them in the incubator. Took some time to get a Tiloo that way. After reading this I set some collectors in the waterfall area and tripled the number of eggs in a few minutes.

Strangely enough, I am having way more trouble finding/crafting Vilnus Eggs than Golden Eggs!

Getting roughly the same rates of both. Kinda wish alternative recipes existed to alter the rates. IE: use fertilizer t2 instead of t1 for better luck. But alas, still stuck playing incubator roulette.

Galbea Eggs can be collected in the sea at the bottom of the map
