Sulfur mine close to the waterfall ?

I see on the in-game map using advanced GPS satellites that there seems to be a sulfur mine close to the waterfall but I can't find it. Can someone indicate how to reach it ?

Sulfur mine near the Waterfall?
There's a possible mine in the cave between the area with the spikes, and the gray area way to the east of the Waterfall. ( coords 125, -295 or something like that for the entrance)
Loads of other stuff there, too, Iridium and Osmium mostly. Well worth the visit.
Just don't know if it can be mined there.

The next ones are reachable through caves from the Meteor Crater.

I note that sulfur is a surface material, not something found underground. What happens if you just put the extractor in the surface ?

Well thanks for the tip. I know how to find Sulfur but I've noticed Sulfur being indicated on the map close to the waterfall but I do not find any special place there with Sulfur, that's why I'm asking the question :)

@Pesky : I didn't try to put one on the cascade itself. The Suflur icon is slightly in between the cascade and the water, but I might try later.

Waterfall or Sandfall? There is a sulfur area near the sandfall. Go to desert where battleship is, go south and find a opening in the mountain, go through and there is sulfur and also aluminium as well as regular stuff.

Interesting. Tried the location and the Ore Extractors put there will produce Sulfur, both on the shore and in the depression (where the lake will be later).

(Doing the Meteor crater again, but relaxing at normal difficulty)

Hmm, I wonder if it is underground. It looks like about where the mushroom cave is located.
