**Jurassic Park music starts playing **
If there is other planets sometime later in the future each one should have its own unique wildlife so they are not all the same.
I suspect that Fish will bring with it basic fish, complex fish, and perhaps reptile like animals, which will lead to land mammals and so on. There'll likely be another machine like the DNA Manipulator/Larvae Incubator that can be used to grow animals or incubate eggs.
I assume after fish and mammals, we'll get birds (we already get butterflies).
None of them will be dangerous, it's already stated that there will be no combat or threat from other beings/creatures in game. So they'll all be visual only, non-interactive, except perhaps in the case where you can maybe extract wool from sheep or something like that.
I don't think they'll be making extra planets, I believe the plan is to have the game completed in 2023, so that they can move on to the next project.
But given the success of Planet Crafter (if it's successful and well received, which so far it seems to be), I don't doubt they would consider making a 2nd one, or an expansion etc... But the plan is to use this game to learn more about Unity and get some funding, so that they can make this their full time job and then make bigger better games.
PCII could allow for different planets, randomized vistas and life etc... If it were to ever happen.
