Can I launch more than 1 of each kind of bio rocket in order to increase the rates even more? Or will I just waste my resources? Thanks!

Yep, you can and you even should. But be aware that the numbers aren't added (i.e. one rocket gives 1000x, a second won't give another 1000x to that, but instead it'll only increase the base number again). So be sure to nevertheless build more machinery on the surface, or the rocket will be wasted.

I had to think about what you said for a bit. If I understand correctly, what you are saying is that the first 1000% "plants rocket" magnified the existing 210 g/s output coming from the combined machines I already had built and running. So if I don't build any more machines first and I launch another plants rocket it will have no effect. But if I duplicate my biomass generating equipment first, then launch another plants rocket, then it will increase that second 210 g/s output by 1000% also. That will effectively double my biomass output from 2104 g/s to 4204 g/s. Correct?

There are two numbers for each of the productions.
The large text number is the TOTAL AMOUNT you have produced so far.
The smaller text number underneath the larger number is the BASE PRODUCTION stat, and that tells you what the production per second is.

So, as an example, you have 10 Heaters each producing 10 heat/sec, you are making a base production of 100/s...

The uranium rocket multiplies base production by 10. (This is the same as adding 1000%)
The next rocket multiplier ADDs to the previous rocket, not the total base production, by 10 again, so it changes it to x20, the third rocket changes it to x30, etc

So the uranium rocket multiplies ALL heat generation by 10. if you are making 100 heat/second this will make it 1,000 heat/second.

so...100 heat + 1st rocket = 1000 heat, +2nd rocket =2000 heat, +3rd rocket =3000 heat etc etc etc
Building more machines will change the base production and there change the bonus numbers accordingly.

Thanks, that made it crystal clear. :) I excelled in math in high school, but always had the worst time with word problems. If I see an equation, it's a snap. If I have to read a description of the problem, I get lost. I dunno what it is. My brain's not wired right I guess. :P

Be aware that there are only so many Seed Lirma in the game as of the current release which limits the number of Plants Rockets you can launch.

This is needlessly complicated on the parts of the devs and not well explained...

One quick clarifying Q:

What constitutes the "base" stat.

Uranium is also a pretty limited resource until you hit a certain milestone unlock, before that its either from a few spots on the planet and whatever happens to fall from the skies.

Output is Production x Bonus
The Production is the sum of of all machines of that type
the Bonus is 10x the number of rockets of that type in orbit
So if you had 1 heater that produces 100 heat/s and 1 rocket orbiting with a heat bonus, then your heat would Output would be 100 x 10 = 1000
5 of those heaters and 2 rockets would be (5 x 100) x (2 x 10) = 500 x 20 = 10000
The highest efficiency is a balance between the machines and rockets.
EXCEPT, as stated above, there is a hard limit on the seed Lirma for the plants rocket, might be wise to keep 1 or 2 of those in storage.
