Also, why? You have locker storage.
The game gives you LOADS AND LOADS of resources... make a sprawling base just to hold it all if you want.
I also like making mini base here mini base there. Having a few lockers that stack(even if its only 5-10 per slot) would be nice. (or a mod to convert X amount of ores to a stack of ores like a certain subnautica mod has?)
Also the stack size is highly preferential. For example, some want different stacking amounts per type. I like everything to stack up to 10k.
As a mod, the game devs don't have to worry about unbalancing the game and also less likely they introduce bugs or performance issues.

(/me wonders if the image link will work...)
10k? if it doesn't stack in prime numbers then I'm not interested and demand a refund
(wouldn't mind Rods for common materials also. They tend to take up a lot of storage space)
Seriously think of ways to make an idea ACTUALLY balanced to the game concept and flow rather than keep spouting off one preference or another... likely hood of an idea being implemented is if you think of the means to balance something out so that it still fits to the feel of the game...
As for compressed resource types of iron, titanium, silicon, etc... I'd like to seed rod variants of those items as well if only to simply be a means of compressing the resource down... or to be utilized in some future construction. I know that there is the Super Alloy rod that holds technically 8 of each basic resource and 9 aluminum but that requires extensive uncrafting of first the rod, then the super alloy and usually you are not needing all the other materials that come with it. So yeah if not stackable items then compressed versions of them to increase storage since iron, titanium, and the like are so heavily used.
