Tips and trick: golden larva
To get golden and blue larva.. they spawn with great possibility in Ancient city outside.. you can put automation to see what spawned around it and just find it..

Can you put Auto-Crafters there? I was trying to build Flower Spreaders but it's red in every place.

For story reasons, don't try to build much, especially factory-type things, in the ancient areas. You can put a teleport terminal, desk, display screen, etc. in one, but don't try to take it over as usable space. There's plenty of unused space outside.

I found that Rare Larvae (which isn't really very rare) with the heavy duty Mutation stuff and regular fertilizer creates golden larvae almost all the time.

i have not seen this happen in any of the ancient areas at all, and i have spent hours in each area just to check this out.

t's just the last one. Hang out in the rectangular flat area outside the blue palace for ten minutes, and pick up every coloured butterfly thing you find.

Heh yeah, just my luck, or lack of it, just as i went here and wrote my reply to this thread i started to find serena and the golden larvae.

Did you know a special butterfly can be found in the osmium cave near the crash near the default drop pod landing zone (butterfly nere larvae)?

Getting the Golden Butterfly is possible in the incubators. It is a very low chance, but if you keep at it you will get them like I did.

I didn't realise this, thank you!
I've just spent a long time in the paradise place and got 21 Serena but not 1 gold - yesterday (before patch 2?) I got 6 gold larvae! in half the time - maybe just the odds today but I prefer the almost 1 in 10 chance in the incubator, sounds like that'll take less time!

I found the golden easily but not the blue yet. Also i have never found a Lorpen. Anyone know where to find those?

Found a Fiorente today that I've never seen before, this was in the paradise location.

Have 4 Lorpen larva, one in a display case. Think I've had a couple for a while but definitely got the last one in the paradise location too.

Did know this and have made countless of them in incubators before i went to test what others said about finding the golden ones in the wild.
Also you can find a special butterfly in the osmium mine near the crashed freighter near the standard drop pod point, not as good as the golden larvae, but still nice you can find special onces in the wild.

That's before you unlock the Imeo and Serena larvae.
