Do agility boots work?
I've tried both the T1 and T2 agility boots and can tell no discernable movement speed increase with walking or sprinting.

T1-T2-T3
Its a small speed and height increase with each level.
On the ground, you run a bit faster and jump a little higher.
I think its more evident when combined with a Jetpack.
You fly faster and higher.

I can't tell a difference with any of the three boots and to me the jetpack does not take you high enough.

As noted, the difference isn't dramatic (or intended to be), but if you time a distance run with and without you'll see it.

There is a discernible difference in speed. You can use the jet pack to fly over top almost anything and even use it go up the sides of cliffs. Look up when using it.

Yes, the speed increase is small, but very obvious to me.
And same thing with the altitude increase.

We've had this discussion before, its not an airplane...its a jetpack.
I can easily clear every building in my base and most obstacles.
I can travere the map in half the time of running.

No, its not like flying...
I cannot clear Trees or the Aluminium biome formations.

But how high do you need to go to play this game?
The jetpack is an aid...not a vehicle.

F4 + jetpack = getting to places you're not supposed to be at... :-)

Oh good, I thought I was imagining things. Put on the T2 boots and did not notice myself running 30% faster. And the 45% at T3 should definitely be VERY discernable. But like others have said - they became available so I made them and wear them :)

I noticed a speed boost with the T1 Boots. Jet pack isn't for altitude.

The T2 pack will go a little higher than the T1 and the T3 will go higher yet, but remember this is a ground effect flying device, so height is limited.

Personal opinion: yes, they do work and yes, they do increase spead. I oftentimes press Space when walking and I lets me "fly" in a straight line above hilly ground, which makes me considerably faster.
