Its a small speed and height increase with each level.
On the ground, you run a bit faster and jump a little higher.
I think its more evident when combined with a Jetpack.
You fly faster and higher.
There is a discernible difference in speed. You can use the jet pack to fly over top almost anything and even use it go up the sides of cliffs. Look up when using it.
And same thing with the altitude increase.
We've had this discussion before, its not an airplane...its a jetpack.
I can easily clear every building in my base and most obstacles.
I can travere the map in half the time of running.
No, its not like flying...
I cannot clear Trees or the Aluminium biome formations.
But how high do you need to go to play this game?
The jetpack is an aid...not a vehicle.
