Nuclear plants work for the whole planet ergo they should never cause any.
Heaters are to heat the planet thus it doesnt matter where they are, same with drills.
I never ran into problems putting machines far away. It doesnt seem to be a factor in his game. It seems to have wireless power distribution.
You might have to search for console commands on the web. Until then you have to pick up the ore manually. It is doubtful the DEV wants to give them away. I made some storage cabinets outside and filled them up just in case I would like to build more structures.
lol.
I'm tempted to go stick a teleporter out in the far reaches of nowhere just so I can dump all my spare resources there.
Hey you're not the only one. Lol. I decided I wanted my planet as uncluttered by tech as possible, so I build all my heaters, fusion reactors, and drillers in the irridium cave. There's still plenty of room in there for whatever comes next. Saves my frame rate too.
Now if we could just take down all the tree and flower spreaders eventually that would be awesome. They're eye sores on my pristine planet.
Please do not, thank you. It's bad enough that there are unreachable resources I can't pick up.
I even removed all machinery (except tree spreaders and extractors) from the ground:

The planet is as clean and untouched as possible, aside from a few mining bases and extractors. I think now I will start placing tree spreaders everywhere.
You legit beat me in the OCD department! lol
Oooooo, well that explains the showers I get like every 5 minutes now. Duly noted. At least I'm almost done cleaning up the current sections (last is the mushroom river). Then it's on to building a stupid number of bases and trying to max everything out ASAP to get my teleporters
That has nothing to do with meteor events. I tested it and neither do they reappear after a reload, nor is there a notably higher number once the planet is cleaned. I might err as I didn't do any datamining to get proof but from the (granted rather limited) data at hand my subjective conclusion leads to there being no (noticable) connection.
I don't see why a meteor spawn mechanic would be coded in when we can simply mine for all that we need.
Wireless is one of the things I love about this game! In No Man's Sky (NMS), you actually have to create a wiring system for all of your power generators (such as Solar Panels) and everything that needs power. I especially don't like having to drag really long lengths of wire across three widely-separated hotspots (e.g. Geomagnetic Hotspot, Copper Deep Deposit, and Oxygen Gas Pocket). In this instance, you basically have to drag wire from your Geomagnetic Generator(s) out to your Mineral Extractor(s) and your Gas Extractor(s). I'm SO glad we don't have to do anything like that in THIS game!
