Mushroom River Question

Need a little help, can someone please post the coordinates for the mushroom river.Can do as a spoiler alert if you want. Looked about 12 times and have not found it. Will say it is well hidden, found it once but was running out of oxygen and had to go back to base.Been back since and cannot find it again.

If you are running out of O2 when exploring, then you haven't figured out one of the basic strategies of this game.
A. Carry O2 with you.
B. Build outposts that you can retreat to.
Then start exploring for things.

Had 5 things of oxygen when took out for exploring and just ran out of the last one . Barely made it to a pod before I would have died. So stop guessing .When exploring always take 4 to 5 with me for just in case.The bad thing was I had just found it when was running out and was getting ready to go back to a pod.Did not have anything on me at the time to mark the entrance. Will say it is well hidden. been back multiple times since looking.

Build remote pods every where...then run between them....lots of resources available on the ground

near the waterfall is a large group of rocks, under them is the mushroom river. its just a river, with some pretty mushrooms and glow effects - that's it. :D

Sorry. But when you play this since early beta, why do you die on lack of O2?
I died in my first session in the Demo 2 times because of no O2 but since then not once.

I always have the materials for a habitat an a door in my backpack. No dying of suffocation. Build habitat, fill flask with O2, deconstruct habitat.

You are doing plenty of whining back at us...
you say you know things and are well experienced
and yet you complain of the most basic thing in this game.

Someone gives you the most basic advice
(place pods.... which you obviously haven't done enough of)
and you call them 'smart mouth'?
You need to check your own mouth.

I never carry O2 bottles and yet I only ever black out when I allow it.

Entrance to the Mushroom River is not that well hidden.
In fact, I found it twice with little effort.
No I won't give you the exact location of any spot in this game because of your attitude.

Thank You with your tip I found it. There must be 2 ways in as the other way was off in the dark meteor field.That was where I found it before but thanks and have it marked.

Why can't I find this? I have been all round the waterfall, under water around the waterfall and the perimeter.

shouldn't be too hard to find, just look for the rocks

LOL....first off, there a re rocks everywhere....And I have been everywhere. Still not found near the waterfall or the inner perimeter of the wall.

Thanks was it, but the Entrance/Exit in the dark meteor field was not there, unlit I exited thru it, which is really weird

You have two entries, one in the dark rocks and the other nearby he waterfall, go pointing to the crater, stick to the wall and look for depressions on the terrain, both entries are like holes on the floor, they are no so much larger, but kind of hidden.
And get a survival kit (as I call it) 3 irons, 2 titanium and a silicon, build a little pod whenever you are beginning to get low on oxygen, re-full the tank and then deconstruct it.

anyone find a Gold Chest in the mushroom underground river area?
I've looked, but can't find.
Found two Blue Chests.
