This game is a rip off of Osiris New Dawn. Change my mind

This game is a cheesy low grade quality of graphics and physics of the same concept of Osiris new dawn, the only difference is that the objective of the game is to terraform the planet.
I reinforce by saying even the ambient music, the terrain, the User Interface is all a copy and past of Osiris: New Dawn and that game got flamed hard on reviews, yet this one is overwhelmingly positive... I dont get it... this game has no other life in it but you, Osiris has at least some. The running in this game is awful, It almost feels like a Nintendo 64 game, with that and the graphics. And the mining is kind of the same thing, go to caves to get rare minerals. The end game? Havent got there yet, but can you even build space ships?
Idk its not a terrible game, but i feel like it shouldnt be praised as its ripping off another game almost exactly graphically, visually, and the audio. So if you guys are looking for another game like this I recommend Osiris New Dawn, the Devs are taking their time with the game but its still in development.

Now if you really want to be convinced then we can talk about tropes to certain types of games. Would you agree that a key element of a survival game is trapping the player in the game? If the player can just get in a vehicle of some sort and leave to some place safe then it defeats the purpose of surviving in a hostile environment.
So if it is on an island it will involve a plane crash or a ship crash. If it is on another planet then the ship will crash or you will be jettisoned in a pod you can't reuse.

Again, this is a trope of the genre. We'd have to go back to the very first survival game to say who created that, even then you would have to go back to literature for that too.

Now on to crafting. Lots of games have it. Since we are often playing as human or humanoid beings the shape of things are going to be similar as we tend to live in the same type of structures. So we will have four walls, a floor and a ceiling. We will need an entry. So things will look similar.

Then you have that humanoid thing again. What do we need? food, water, air/protection from elements. So we will need to grow thing, collect water, and in games that are not on an Earth-based world that will need us to generate O2. That will need power, so we will need to have a way to generate it.

Now there has been claims that the game is similar to subnautica in looks. This is due to using Unity so the same parts will be used.

A lot of the claims of being a clone or rip-off of other games is due to it being tropes of the genre.

Again, I use a baseball game. No one says one game is a rip=off of another because baseball is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball you catch the ball. Everyone is working off the same rules if they make the game.

ugh, you dont see how the space pods are completely identical? Outside of adding a storage bin and a crafter to make things easy, but there is a lot of copy and paste if you dont see it then you need to go back and look at Osiris. From the user interface to the modules, to the crash landed ships. But Osiris put a lot of work into physics and quality of graphics, theres lots of content and life to the game. the only thing that they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up was by going back and rebuilding their engine and leaving their customers in the dark. and not really finding an end objective! If they did that the game wouldnt be so boring. but you gotta say this game is still lackluster in quality of the player id asset and progression.

And btw nobody here is really making a convincing argument to persuade me to think this isnt a rip off.

as you can see the layout and details on the outside do not resamble much simialrities and would not held up in a court of law of course the outside look a bit similar but that's it the inside and outside are enough different to not be copy pasted and would not work as enough evidence is court of law because there just too different.

NONE OF THIS IS SIMILAR i don't know how the hell you got the idea the game identical or copy pasted you either haven't played osrisis new dawn in a long long time or your just bullshiting and know you are because this is not copy pasted and would not be held up in the court of law and even if the concept is the same guess what that's not copy pasting people are allowed to use the same concept like how minecraft basically created something called the survivial sandbox genre but a game using that genre/concept doesn't make it a copy especially in the court of law they only care about if the asset are 1-1 or sometimes if the excuation of the mechanic are 1-1 but usually that more of a grey area because it is acceptable to use the same mechanic but depending on how similar the execution is to another game it could be considered copying and pasting but like i said it's a pretty grey area

also next time you do this at-least provide your own proof because technically we are not the ones that need to proof to you that the game is not similar you need to prove to us the game is similar as your the one making the claim.

Osiris came out in EA i believe in 2016 and is probably in a worse state now then it was when it launched 6 years ago!! lots of things promised for that game and so far hardly any of the stuff has been added they "shown off" and they just had the cheek to put the price up by a modest amount, or around 33% if thats considered modest, planet crafter came out a few months ago in EA and also has a lot of missing content, if in 6 years time its still the same piece of rubbish osiris currently is, then yeah i will give you that, but saying 1 space game on an alien planet is the same as another is stupid, quake is like doom, lara croft is like uncharted, fifa is like pro evo or whatever its called now.....
