Problem Stacking 4x4 Living Modules...

I've played a lot of hours and am now at the point where I'm just building things for fun. The one thing I haven't been able to do is stack two 4x4 living modules. I just can't seem to get them to line up. In fact, it almost seems that they repel each other when you try to stack them. Is it just me or are other people having this problem? If so, have you found a way to do it?

Yes, I sometimes need to use two temporary living compartments. Place the first one on a top corner then the second so it sticks to the side of the big living quarter.

Deconstruct the first, use the second as a guide then deconstruct it.

I do the same thing, using the basic box building as a guide to get everything aligned, and then deconstruct the left overs.

They definitely have some work to do with section and accessory snapping.

yes they do have some work with alignment of many things. The blocks you can build fit on themselves horizontally but not vertically. The blocks cant align with stairs you can build. Say if you were trying to reach way high and had to build to get there, frustrating.

I think they need to look a bit towards No Man's sky when it comes to the base building part. Especially the larger constructions like the 4x4 living compartment is a nightmare to get in place. It would be nice to have a 3rd person "builder mode" where you can place things freely and with more precision than in first person mode. Yup, that's a feature in No Man's sky that I just simply love.

I always used a single pod for the ladder so it would snap to that.

getting too frustrated with trying to build bases dont even have the most basic building tool (grid snaps) in the game lol (the most basic building tool) going to find a better Building game to bad too they had had me at the start but dropped the ball BIG TIME good luck with it all people BYE!
