Where do I find iridium?

2) In meteor shower after launching a rocket in the space
3) From Ore Extractor T2 in iridium caves

A T1 Extractor will suffice for Iridium.

If starting from the standard spawn point then look for falling sand... there are a red'ish cave under it...

The easiest cave to get to is up the hill, from your spawn point look to your right and you'll see the slope, stick to the left and you should come across the cave.
Take care with the materials you find in caves early game as they don't respawn and you won't get the stuff that lets you mine more until later
