Is the Demo Full Access to the game?

I'm playing through the demo right now and I cant seem to spot anything that would indicate this is just a demo and not the full version of the game, am I wrong?

Its the full version before a ton of new stuff was added. Basically an earlier version of the game before early access release.

Because it's a Demo that is meant to show just enough to make you buy the game.

If you take a car out for a demonstration drive, do you expect them to give you the car for free?

The demo stops your Ti from going past a certain low amount (150K? I forget, it's been a while since I played it). So you can't unlock most of the tech, you don't get to see any of the environmental changes to the planet, and once you've hit the limit there's not much to do except wander around and look at the scenery.

The demo ends at 200 Ti with a message that you have completed the demo and if you purchase the full game, your current save file will be continued so you aren't losing the progress you made. I wish more games would do that. I had so much fun with the demo that it was an easy decision to purchase the game, especially knowing that the progress would be saved.
