my 580:85:1520 is not at the meteor crate

It's at a cliff between falling sands and the sulfur sauna retreat. I thought a cave would lead there, but after all the ice melt down, no cave seems to lead there. i flew with the jetpack all around the cliff, but didn't see any sign of an entrance.

did it happen with anybody else?

If you mean the underground complex, it's just a ladder sticking out of the ground....there are a few solar panels next to it.

It's just below the top of the dust cloud, at the southern section of the crater rim, I think?

It is a large rock formation between the sulphur field and falling sand field.

Either you have the coordinates wrong, or you are mistaken about what should be there.

FYI there are two tunnel caves from the area above the falling sands.
One (large one) leads back down into the Zeolite cave, with an offshoot up to the Crater area.
A second narrow tunnel cave, very dark, has Pulsar and other goodies
and a left path (difficult to find) leading to the Crater.

Both of these caves have ice blockages early on.

Is this the iridium crater site or is it the one area that has a bowl shaped sort of cliff with falling sands? Near where sulfer is, after the first iridium cave near the start of the game?

Bro, I can't find it. I get two of the three coordinates correct. But it seems to be in the middle of a big rock formation lol

I was there too i think. And you are right. I went back 2 times to check the coordinates. I think it sais "near" these coordinaters and not "exaxtly" there. When i remember right it was someone who wanted to rebuild his base somewhere more higher to start rockets or something. Not sure, maybe im wrong.

The coordinates 580:85:1520 are in a rock outcrop like people have said. There's nothing significant there.

Where did you find those coordinates ? What are you trying to do ? Can you check to make sure you got the numbers exactly right ? Any missing minus signs ?

Its (NEG)-580:(POS)+85:(POS)+1520 you need to head south 1160 units which puts you somewhere in the iridium crater.

It's dumb because you get the exact same coordinates, almost, except for height, inbetween the sulfur field and the sandfall area. It leads to a big rock with nothing.

Okay, that's two people who've said it's -580, not 580. And that's what I remember. Are you perhaps using a translation which splits the '-' sign into a different line ?

I went back and looked lol. It is -580 which I think some people didn't realize it's neg 580 just that it was a placer mark.

It all makes sense now
