However Oxygen production in living quarters seems to be independant of power production, pretty sure it works before you build your first wind generator and I'd be willing to bet it continues working if you overload the grid.
Btw, doesn't it seem a bit odd that we've got this fabulous wireless power distribution technology (Tesla would be fascinated.) but with no intelligence whatsoever, overload it and it just shuts down completely. (At least we don't have to manually reset a fuse or restart the generators or something.)
Though I do build power all over. (I don't want to live next to a nuclear reactor)
Peppering the landcape with one unit places make sense. It happens in the real world too. Emergency shelters are thing.
if the game goes that route, the wireless connection could also be an additional idea for a new rocket.
Think out of the box as it just might help you solve many issues. That what the devs are thinking here. Unknown technologies are abound in this game so forget Eath theories and think like the devs ..... out of the box.
