Hardcore Woes

So, fell through a mountain in hardcore, now I'm glitched and super far away from anything with no resource spawns. Any ideas about how to get oxygen or cheats or something?

F4 repeatedly to get you up and back on solid ground or edit you save file to change your location. Also if you die I think you will re-spawn close to your base? Not sure

So you deleted the old thread and made a new one with the same title. Alright. And to answer your question, there's Cheat Engine. Otherwise, you decided to do a Hardcore run in an early access game. Your character is now dead, start over. There's no way to recover.

Not OP, but does hardcore not allow you to save? Never tried it before.

No idea, haven't looked at Hardcore in this game. But generally, if doing Hardcore runs, you have one life and if you die you lose the save. If you glitch into the terrain, you'll just slowly die given the game's survival mechanics.

Gimme a few minutes, I'll look at the Hardcore mode.

Edit: Yeah, its a "You die, save is deleted" game mode.

Sounds like OP isn't dead yet. So he/she saves and exits the game then a save edit should work. Otherwise yeah Cheat Engine is the only other way. Kinda defeats the Hardcore part of playing though lol

Alright! I found the answer. The first post by Calabus was spot on. I saw it afterwards but here is what I did:

First, if your not already dead (in which case this is all pointless), save and exit the game. Next, get to your save file by accessing the AppData folder. Under Planet Crafter, find your Survival file. Start a save at the default location. If you access that Survival file, like for instance, my real save was Survival 2 but the new one was Survival 3, you can copy your location at the start of the file (You'll see it at the top), and paste it into your real save.

Viola! You will start the game in a safe spot and your good to go. P.S. I only use this when the game glitches and its only really important for hardcore mode. You die it deletes your save.
