Stuck in living apartment

i somehow (dont ask how) deleted one one part of my living apartment. now iam stuck in a cube without door and i dont have the ressources to build a new door.... is there any way to get out of my misery?

That...shouldn't be possible.
I've not been able to JUST deconstruct the door. And even if you did, you'd still have 100% of what you used to build it. if you used those resources to build something else in the room, you could still deconstruct that to get them back and re-add a door.
If this did happen to you, you should bug report it.

well. I suppose if you somehow managed to JUST deconstruct the door and then threw the resources into a shredder it could happen. But if you did that, I'd accuse you of playing Planet Crafter: Sims Edition

Just happened to me, deconstructed a ladder and the cobalt fell through the floor so I couldn't rebuild. F4 worked to get me out

Most common source of this problem is not having enough inventory space for all the pieces that made up something you deconstruct. If it was a ladder deconstructed from the upper room it lead to, it's resources would drop to the room below. If it was a room with the only door, resources would drop on the floor outside, leaving you in the closed space with no way out in both cases. This was brought up many times since the very beginning of EA, but we need to wait for devs to devise some countermeasure.

I'd like for it to be the same blue chest that appears when we die, to appear below our feet.

Construct a ladder and go out onto the roof.

If you have 2 habs, and one has the door, then stand in the one that doesn't have the door and deconstruct the one that does, bingo! You're locked in. Same thing can happen with ladders. Only solution is to deconstruct the room you're in.

Thats hilarious ;) i died and respawned stuck inbetween the roof and a full upgraded storage container. and to make things worse i couldn't move in any direction in order to even start emptying it to deconstruct it. Had to reload which wasted an hour of gameplay

When you are stuck with no ressource for escape ^^ F4 is your friend THX YOU !!!!

No ... I think it's no possible to deconstruct door so when it works you don't have anything ... No ressource ^^ So it's a bug but very fun ^^

guys thanks for the help. i could manage to escape my prison. somehow it is possible to demolish buildings through other buildings. so i could build a door ^^. It was very scary to be in rison in an empty appartment XD
