Finally got a good storage system setup!

I have 35 large wall lockers and 20 small blue boxes. I'd need three rooms like that

i got one too, but using small rooms since it what i had at the time and maybe should re-do stuff

I often place the large Storage Crates edgewise in the hallways. I can get 4 per side & still have ample walkway down the center. Then I can also place 2 additional Storage Crates in the joint between rooms.

The only downside of this is that the name tags get covered. I do still have access to each end group of crates, but the others are blocked. This only stops me from editing new tags, since I can see what the crate contains when I hover the cursor over the crates.

But Ideally, the developers will consider adding other options for editing/displaying storage tags.

• Edit box on both small ends
  
• Alternative edit option such as edit box once you in the actual inventory.

I did something similar and also added double sided rows going down the center as well so it's kinda set up like isles in a store.

That's very cool. I wish we had had the large living quarters earlier in game. I am debating whether to destruct everything and making a whole new base - but transferring all the locker content sucks too much. Still debating...

Im currently relocating my storage to a double large, with 3 x large storage for each item in crafting.

You know, I was seeing in everyone's screenshots that your lockers have inbuilt label and it just looked so weird and flat, completely different from my ones.

Yeah coz I put them down the other way around...
