Shortage of Lirma
Lirma is needed for grass, trees, and in building the first Biodome and also for spreading Moss. When sending it up in the rockets it is lost forever which means it is easy to become short of this towards the end of the game. If we could have more Lirma and perhaps less Aubergine (egg plant) seeds I would appreciate it. I know a convict is supposed to suffer while terraforming this planet but with a diet of aubergines, beans and turnip it is fortunate not to be sharing the living quarters with others.

Yeah I noticed there is no way to get more seed. There needs to be some kind of cloning machine or the game needs to respawn seeds on the map. Lol

I expected plants to produce their own seeds. I just hope it will be implemented in future updates.
It will be logical to be able to collect seeds after player reach "Insect Stage" or/and a special tool must be crafted for that.

T1 grass spreaders are next to useless once you get to flowers. The O2 they make is not worth the power you are using. Cannibalize them to get your Liema back
InfinityDigits Apr 23, 2022 @ 6:05am
once you build T2 biodome and the tree spreaders, lirma's only useful purpose is to be used in biomass rockets.

the % they provide on spreader machines is the lowest of all the plants, as it is the most basic of plants.and the soleus tree seed is also lowest of all tree seeds.

ive gotten 20 lirma plants in latest playthrough, after scouring entire map for basically everything except the locked door of the crash ships, and plan on using all 20 of them for bio rockets.

Theres a lot more Lirma in the game

I currently have 40 Lirma in storage.
I've completed everything...I have 6 Lirma installed in Seed Speaders.
And I've probably launched a dozen Lirma rockets.
And there are a few I have not bothered to collect and return to my base.

So thats well over 50 Lirma found.

I have noticed that blue crates are respawning with plants and other needed items
madsgrandad Apr 23, 2022 @ 6:52am
blue crates are not respawning items.
but they may be refilled with new items if you move from prologue to early access
or with new game updates.

As madsgrandad said, there's no shortage of Lirma, there's only 1 thing that you can use it for where the Lirma is consumed, rockets. You don't really need to launch an awful lot of them and there's easily 50+ Lirma in the game currently.
Sure, if you have 50 biomass t3 generators (whatever they may be), then launching 50 Lirma rockets would be good, but that's probably a ways off yet, and there's no telling if we'll be able to grow plants/lirma yet. We can grow trees and collect bark, and turn plants in to tree seeds etc... so we may be able to also create plant seeds (including Lirma) at some point, not that I can really see a need for it at the moment.

The contents of the blue crates in the wrecks and the world are randomly spawned and depend partially on your current terraforming score. Opening the crates early on in the game will be more likely to give you Lirma plant canisters, open them later can you'll get higher value items.

So one player's experience can vary noticeably from another's.

I haven't tried it yet but I've read on the forums that you can put any tree seed in a recycle machine and it will give you back a Lirma seed after recycling (plus what ever else it uses). It might be worth trying that method instead of trying to hunt down a Limra seed somewhere.

With there being some random flowers out in the open, we should be able to pick the flora we plant to have more resources. Maybe not all of them at once but, at random. And yes, Lirma is becoming obsolete when it's needed as one of the oxygen producing elements of the game and for ground cover.

Will have to check this out to confirm it. Are you talking tree bark or, what you graft via the DNA Manipulator? If that's the case, then no, not going there. Takes too long for it to produce, a full 5 minutes, for me to just recycle it. brb.

Lirma seeds ultimately should be used to make as many Seed spreader rockets as possible for the Oxygen multiplers once it unlocks. Until then, don't worry too much about not having too many of them, all you have to do is exploring all the ship wrecks and find all the loot boxes and there should be more than you want.

Anything put in a recycler will give you back the components

As for the lack of some things

Plugins/Mods are your best friend for anything that is in short supply and add some extra gameplay. Purely your chose what you chose to use or classify as "cheating" or not

* Creative mode where everything is unlocked except the things blueprints would unlock and you dont need food/water/O2 other then for recipes (this one is buggy tho)
* You can spawn in most objects if you want to
* You can increase the storage space of all containers (not each type seperately unfortunately)
* You can stack resources upto 10 per space
* You can harvest seeds from Flowers and grass
* Create from storage containers within whatever vacinity you chose
*Can create structures that remove the dividing wall when placed. ie make 3 1x1's will create a corridor with no doorway in the middle
* Can make extractors that mostly only collect the resources you want, not everything. amongst other thing.

Tree bark remains tree bark. As for recycling a tree, not gonna happen, takes to long, in my book, to manipulate. Why would I want to do that, anyway? There are no trees seeds in the game in the first place. Just plants to merge DNA with the other elements for it.
