IIRC it's 1000% and not 1000x which is only 10x. I have been chaining many rockets and progress is still exceptionally slow.
Because I don't understand the number values they use I haven't been able to figure out which gives the best increase just yet. Should I build another t4 drill or launch a rocket?
So if you are making 100 heat per second the first rocket bonus is 1000. Next 2000, 3000, 4000, and so on. It reaches a point quickly where it's simply better to add more producers than fire off another rocket. For example after the 4th launch there another rocket would be 5100, however another base producer that made 40 would change the 4 rocket bonus from 4000 to 5600.
heat starts in nk (nanokelvin, 10^-9 kenvin) nothing is that cold. 0 kelvin is absolute lack of temperature, never been recorded.
pressure is nPa, again asteroids wouldnt be able to burn up, no storms etc etc, also nothing should be able to grow.
only thing that would help make sense is that the numbers are an increase to planet base. Still a 8.5μk increase in temp or a 10ppb increase is o2 is pretty much negligible and still i have a very big lake in my planet.
The units on the total change to keep the number a reasonable size. The total numbers are useful in conjunction with the unlock screen to know when you'll be able to unlock items.
The units on the smaller numbers are fixed. This is the amount that adds into the overall Terraforming Index. So a straight up comparison of the small font numbers (ignoring units) will show how much each is contributing overall, and will show you what you may need more of.
