I could take everything apart and hope it will be ok.

This being in Beta most of the time they have to be restarted with the new Version. That is why I said doubt it will even work.

I've took everything apart now. Wonder if the water will reside :)

I see the new version is up, I noticed a new storage locker, but no mention of a stacking system. This kind of concerns me, I know my last play through, I had 10-15 chests lined up in rows per element type and was only done with a small area of the map the original spawn zone working outwards. I do not see a new locker being the fix for lack of inventory space. Downloading the 3.003 version to check out the changes now. Keeping my fingers crossed for material stacking, building shelters just to house / hold resources is kind of a pain, but you want to get them before they get covered by water etc.

Yes, stacking is very wanted. Water does not damage buildings.

The new locker storage should fix the problem. Once you unlocked it, it's the same as two crates one on top of the other.

Yes, but one locker storage and 3 vertically stacked containers occupy almost same ground space.
locker storage - 30 items
3 containers will hold 45 items
