this game is better than arma 2

well, I have arma two with all dlc and this game is better than arma 2. this game has far less bugs and runs a lot smoother.

no not at all. arma 2 is a buggy piece of crap while this game runs smooth. my pc is more than capable of running arma 2 smoothly. this game is so much better. better graphics, fps, play control.

true but I don't buy games for MP only. I buy them for single player and if they have mp all the better.

I've thought about this a lot too, and I think it all came down to arma's long standing in-engine editor. The external editor in this game is good, but you have to exit out of the game to run it, and it doesn't have the dedication and pre-existing knowledge from the arma modding community. And the thing that stopped this game from making its own big community was its lack of a server browser and dedicated servers. A real shame too.

if they would fix the bugs and get the fps running better it would be a great game. arma 2 is just too buggy and no matter what setting the fps are way to low. my machine is more than powerful enough to run the game but the game is just not optimized well at all.

I remember buying this when it first came out. It was crap. Poor AI, small maps , broken mechanics. Cant believe they are still trying to flog it or that people actually buy it ,let alone compare it to Arma 2. LOL.

Tried Arma 2 and OA buggy, glitchy, broken and ran like crap. Got ArmA CO and then ArmA Gold after and had more fun with the older series. Gotta say enjoying this OP/DR it plays and runs well so a happy gamer.

I agree. Both are great however this is a better **GAME** . It's freaking difficult. ARMA 2 is a better... war... simulator thing.
