The Multiplayer patch is still available on Bluedrake's site, you just have to register for the forums (for free), and then do a search for Operation Flashpoint...it'll bring up the thread with the file download link.
You get that ip on websites like whatsmyip.org
we play that way in our group: http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791462229561
looking on bluedrake42 i didnt find anything about that !
It's still utilizing listen servers (hosted by players, much like your group most likely) just allows for servers to showup in the LAN browser section of the game. So you don't have to type in a IP everytime you want to connect.
*** copied from the thread located on Bluedrake's forums, since it can't be viewed unless someone is registered ***

Reuploading the multiplayer mod at the request of a few others.
In order to host a server that others can see, make sure you open ports 9100-9105 for UDP on your local router firewall.
Our community has hosted a new master server for Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. Unzip these two files into your root Dragon Rising directory, and browse other player servers in the LAN browse section in multiplayer.
If you like this modification, please consider making a donation, or becoming a supporter here. We need to pay monthly bills to keep the master server active, and your support helps us do that.
IMPORTANT:
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising's servers are NOT dedicated. Every server you see is hosted by a PLAYER. This means that if you connect to games from Australia, and you're in Canada... you're going to have a bad time. The dedicated server files were never released for this game... in fact some of us think they were never made at all. This means you should try to play on servers within your local area... with low ping. If you don't, you might just ruin the experience of both yourself... and everyone else in the game. Private matches will probably help avoid this.
If you have any issues, make sure you report them HERE. Keep in mind Dragon Rising is no longer supported... which means we cannot always guarantee a fix. However we will try our best, and hopefully others with experience in the game will watch these forums
Not sure if it's still listed anywhere, but I found a link that has downloads for quite a few of the mods/missions/files.
You need to know what you're looking for, but it's one of the largest OFP:DR collections I've found.

***gotta remove the ...." from each end, Steam removed the link when I first posted it without em. ***
Again, thanks SSIXS!
I'll have to take a look at ALLR6. I recently got RS3 as a gift (even after 25 years, the wife can still suprise me) just hadn't had a chance to install and check it out yet. I'll definitely add it to my list for the weekend if it has full mod support. I'll do some digging on Mod Db to see what I can find for it.
Thanks Red2112 (2112 is one of my favorite Rush albums of all time)
Do have a look at R6 RvS, still great after all these years! Get´s alot of love on MODDB and ALLR6. I suggest the following, two copy´s of the game folder (if you want to play MP), one for SP and another for MP, as not all mods are compatible between SP and MP. For MP just dowload and install the ALLR6 MP patch...
http://allr6.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?id=3
Just install the patch and set connection to T3, that´s it for W10.
Then install the optimization patch..

All guns/mods/maps will be loaded once you connect to a server.
You can also install the Supply Drop SP Mod which is compatible with the MP patch...
http://www.moddb.com/games/tom-clancys-rainbow-six-3-raven-shield/downloads/supply-drops-singleplayer-updated-april-2018
For SP I suggest the recent Elite Counter-Terror mod...
http://www.moddb.com/mods/elite-counter-terror/downloads/elite-counter-terror-complete
I would join the ALLR6 Discord, nice folks, home of some modders (.Twi) and you have voice chat channels for when you play co-op with others from ALLR6.
Or you can follow my thread here (page-2)...

Have fun and/or add me to your friends list. (as "RedOneAlpha" in R6 RvS).
@danbio Thanks, glad to be aboard!
