10% was not much anyway
1. Start the mission/tutorial where you learn to connect wagons and switch tracks.
2. Attach the first set of wagons, change the tracks.
4. Attach the second set, but make sure that throttle is still 1, and no breaks applied.
3. Go outside where you must do something between the loc and first wagon.
While you are busy the train will start to move. You'll get trapped under the carriage, and then transported into the belly of the first wagon, in a train that keeps accelerating.
Also my FPS has reduced by 50% along the full route.
Second that...unless you have a 'large' drive...
Agree with you mostly as it certainly seems that way unfortunately, however... you pay for every Mb downloaded? No unlimited, or full fibre in the area, or are you out in the sticks?
This. 100% this. Especially the point about the German routes. I have them all installed but very VERY rarely use any of them. Or any that aren't British really if I'm honest. I'm only really looking forward to the Brighton line in rush hour, but I'll maybe leave it on the wishlist for now, depending on reviews.
All companies are guilty of very VERY lazy attitudes towards optimisation these days, sadly. This will be great when 18TB external SSD's are available for about £200. So roughly 2030/2040 approximately. Almost approaching Valve Time in length
I've noticed the routes are getting a bit longer though, an extra 10 km according to the blurb. Sadly consoles have us by the balls with that though, which is what keeps taking me back to TS20xx. Penzance to Paddington? Yes please.
