DLC Compability

I currently have TSW2 with some of the DLC I've purchased.
The question is whether the current DLC will still be compatible with TSW-3 or even TSW-4?

Btw,Does that mean the DLC containing TSW-2 verses will be compatible with all subsequent versions of TSW? or What?

I have not seen or heard that buying a TSW4 version will also give you the TSW2 version.
in order to get the TSW4 version,
You need to own the same version in TSW2 and or TSW3.
I have seen people say that if you buy the TSW2 version, you get the TSW4 version, I don't believe it works like this. Where it skips TSW3 from TSW2 to TSW4.

it should transfer over to TSW4 but I'm unsure.

Now let's say you own the TSW3 compatible version, then it will transfer over to TSW4, it will take a bit of time, but you will have it.
