Best German DLC?
Hi! I'd love to drive a train across Deutschland

Could you please suggest the best DLCs for that?
I would also appreciate hearing about best DLCs taking place in other locations as well, across the planet

Thank you!

IMO it's either the new Dresden-Chemnitz route (because of the tilting) or Köln-Aachen (which you already should have as part of the TSW 2 base game), thanks to LZB high-speed operation. Both of these have fairly varied services (long-distance, local, freight and S-Bahn operation) although Köln-Aachen is really at its best if you can also use some vehicles (like the 422) from other route DLCs.

I've started up Köln-Aachen as my starting one, enjoying it already

What about DLC with German trains? Are they accessible in Köln?

In timetable mode, I have the following trains available:
* BR 143
* DBpbzfa 766.2 double-deck cab car
* BR185.5 (MRCE, black)
* BR 146.2 (DB)
* BR 442 (DB, red, included with the route)
* BR 406 (ICE 3, multi-system variant, included with the route )
* BR 185.2 (DB, red)
* BR 422 (DB, red)

I can't tell you off the top of my head where these came from - most of them are included with other route DLCs. The 143 and 422 should be from Hagen - Wuppertal.

I think the BR 101 is also usable on this route but I don't own that DLC so I can't check. Sorry.

BR 101 can't be used in Köln unless you used planner

Or... You can download a mod that let's you use it in the regular timetable mode on that route.

my favourite route is Nahverkehr Dresden. It has lots of interesting diverging paths and 6 different trains (BR 143, BR 766.2, BR 442, BR 146.2, BR 185.5, BR 363)

My favorite ist Rapid Transit (which is Markkleeberg/Leipzig - Dessau). It's really nice and relaxing to go there and I have a "weird obsession" with the BR 182 (Siemens ES64U2 "Taurus).

I have almost every german route, and I think the best (so far) would be Nahverkehr Dresden. :tsw2dbbr422: I need to try Dresden - Chemnitz (Tharandter Rampe), but firstly I wait for some discounts... ;)

Riesa-Dresden and Rhein-Ruhr and MSB are the best DLCs.

my favourite is Aschaffenburg with BR155 and ICE Köln/Frankfurt/Aachen where you can also play the BR101

I don't think any German DLC is going to be my favourite - so I will just point out that Bochum-Duisburg is reduced in Steam's Lunar Sale.
