Where is the dlc folder?

I seen alot of people that have the dlc folder but i don't have it i checked using steam/steamapps/common/train sim world2/windowsnoeditor/tsw2prototype/content and also the mods aren't working on top of this any help is appreciated.

It dpends a upon if you use the steamfolder or another folder for your content, e.g. on a different drive. But this path is correct.

no i have steam installed on my d disc and all of my games are there strange might try to reinstall tsw2

Same folder here for me (installed on D:-drive). Are you sure you are checking the right location?

Go to the Library, right click on TSW2, choose Manage and Browse Local Files which will take you to the installation location for you.

Make sure you go to the TS2Prototype folder and not the Engine folder. They both have a Content subfolder so might confuse a bit.

stupid question but did you check if your dlcs are installed?
i'm not sure but i think the main game is stored in the paks folder. the one that is highlighted in the screenshot you posted. maybe that's why there is no dlc folder?

No, I think it's a very good question. No DLC installed, no DLC folder... why not?

If you have no DLC installed or never had DLC installed, then it is working as intended. You will need to manually create the DLC folder if you want mods and put them in there.

The base routes are in a different folder (\paks)
