Can't get Tube stock Mk 72 to move
I'm baffled, I did exactly how it was described in the game and read the manual as well but the train will not move an inch.
Control key
control switch ON
Insert direction key and Turn to Forward
Set power level to Shunt
.....and nothing happens.
WHY WHY WHY?

I just tried to do exactly what you described and works like a charm for me. I don't know what you did wrong.

You should be fine. Keep trying!

Hello there. Set the Direction selector to Inter first. Set the brake to emergency, wait, then move it to Off and Release. Reset the audible warning valve after that. You then move brakes to Rheo 1. And set the Direction selector to forward at last. Ready to move.

Also pay attention to your Throttle indicator (number on spedometer) - if it still has red border around it then smth is wrong and blocking your throttle. Usually it is the window interlock. You should check all the windows in cab (open and shut them). Only when windows are closed the interlock allow the throttle to give power. Sometimes interlock glitches.

keep the drivers side window up or the train wont move, learned this after smh almost 40m while figuring out why the train wasn't moving

There is a bypass for the windows but in the tunnels, TfL drivers must keep them closed for safety reasons

Head out in tunnel, head hurt.

No Handle down....must be something else triggered or needs setting , anyhoo ignore this one and move to next journey, which is frustrating.

Actually, sometimes when mine has stopped at a station and, if i have over- or under-shot the stopping point, I can't get the blasted thing moving again.

Haven't been able to work out why this is, nor how to get the thing started again.
Relying on the 'Save' function at the moment.

EdIt: Sorry i edited out the bit about the red lines as I noticed that wasn't actually happening at the place I am currently stuck.

Tried all that, saved etc no matter where I stop train at station refuses to move after stop..no red lines etc..? bug. No matter, will continue journeys and repeat that one at end see what happens

Yeah I am actually having the same problem, repeatedly, at Kensal Green - heading south.
Stopped pretty much right on the stop point, too. Train just won't move again although the lever has been moved to 1, 2 or 3 'forward'.
