About Dream Token Distribution and Game Balance:
In the current season, we've optimized Dream Token distribution. You'll now earn Dream Tokens primarily through levelling up, providing a clearer path to acquiring resources. While the CN server awards Dream Tokens through both matches and levelling, the total amount of obtainable Dream Tokens remains largely consistent across all servers.

We're continuously collecting player feedback and in-game data to ensure a balanced and rewarding game economy for everyone.

Dream Tokens not collecting?
Heya. So basically the currency you use to unlock agents just keeps sitting at 2500 for me, which sucks because I really want the leg warmer shotgun girl. Maybe I'm stupid, but help is appreciated.

Dream Tokens does not give on other modes
On CN u could get dream tokens on other mode then just demolition mode

If it's going to be like that, update the description in game. That's very misleading. Thought I was able to earn dream tokens from matches this whole time

TLDR: Dream credits are obtained too slowly for their use at just getting characters. For f2p purposes this should be addressed as the battle pass and rolls get you skins for characters you probably cant play.

I second these comments. I like the streamlined method of account level, though being able to have each match matter directly with some, even small rewards would be welcome.

The bigger issue aside from any skin monetization concerns is how few dream credits you can get in general, with the only using being to unlock a character. As some have said, over 11 levels is required for each character via dream credits, with each level costing more experience making getting characters freely while not even affecting skins. This severely limits the f2p nature of the game as well as spending. If one rolls for a skin or buys the battle pass, they get skins for characters they don't or cant get without paying discouraging further paying.

It would be nice to either increase the rate of dream credits through other means if characters are meant to be obtained freely, reduce character costs, or else have direct purchase of characters like maybe a full character pack such as smite or LOL has. Currently you would need between the $5 and $15 amounts to get a single character, acting as a barrier to entry before even looking at skins.

Even economically, if people can get the characters more easily then f2p or lower spending players are more likely to pay for skins on characters they like versus not even getting the character in the first place, right?

Since there's already a costume gacha, I think a viable solution is to do what Overwatch did. Make every character free (or at least very very easy to get) and just make a million cosmetics and shove them into the gacha. People will probably spend at least a little just to get outfits for their favorite characters, and there's always going to be some giga-whales who go ALL IN for their waifu. Add new cosmetic items like taunts/poses too or something.

Let's do a rough calculation, we need 3600 tokens in total to unlock a new character. If you're level 15 in global you should have 2 characters unlocked both from the 7 days login reward and another from the total dream tokens accumulated so far. 15 more levels of 300 dream tokens each would be 4500 tokens plus some extras prior from lvl 15 should get you another 2 characters. That means you will have 6 more characters left to be unlocked which in total you would need 21600 tokens for all of them, not to mention there's still 2 more characters coming in the future (Galatea and Youwu) which in total you'll need 28800 tokens.

So for a F2P how long do you need to unlock all of them? That would be 28800/300 = 96. Yes, you'll need to be level 126 to get all characters. It took me 4 months as a semi active player to reach Level 107 in CN (Yes I have all characters unlocked and also a lot Dream Tokens to be spared for the next new character), the exp gap gets higher each level with the added fact that global has this stupid weekly exp cap so it'll take an even longer time to reach level 126.

At lvl 107 in CN server I'm sitting at almost 20k dream tokens extra AFTER getting all the characters unlocked. This proves how bad this game change is.

It's a really stupid and unfair decision, considering that XP required to level up grows as you, well, level up. It makes getting characters harder and harder, while it should be obviously equal. So either make matches reward dream tokens or make all levels require equal amounts of XP so that the aquiring of dream tokens is CONSISTENT. Considering there's already a damn gacha for skins AND that battlepass is really not profitable, it's the only way out of the game dying in like two months. It's fine making money on cosmetics but when you try to get money from things that impact gameplay your game dies, it can be seen on any korean/chinese mmos' examples
