Stuck (Bubble Button not showing up)

Im stuck in Jelly Fish Fields and cannot progress. The Bublle Button prompt won't show up like in this video: https://youtu.be/Ld555KLjlII?t=1256

Sorry to hear you encountered this issue. Are you sure you are standing in the right spot (sometimes you have to move a little closer/further away for the prompt to show). If you are sure you are in the right spot, please try the following:

1. Close game, right click title in library > properties > local files > verify integrity of game files, then launch the game and try again.

2. Uninstall, reboot PC, reinstall.

I ran around for quite a while where the prompt showed in the video, even backtracked to the beginning and ran back to make sure I hit all the triggers. I'll try reinstalling the game now.

Thinking about, I'm quite sure I know what caused the bug. Right when the Mrs. Puff cutscene popped up, I died from an enemy. Possible that bugged out the game.

Yeah a reinstall and verification, neither worked. I assume I must have softlocked my save file when I died during the start of that cutscene. I'll just start a new save tomorrow and play through the beginning again. Thankfully I was only 25 minutes into the game, so not a big loss

Update: Restarting the whole save file fixed it

Same here, played by Geforce Now so I never installed game locally , son stuck already in the same place, bad design in IMHO. Trigger is necessary for further game and main character stuck for good here.
