So... No co-op ig?
Bought this game recently for me and my friend just for co-op. Since the first launch we beat the prologue, reached the Stone and... simply can't connect to eachother. Is that some dev joke or? Because we tried everything that we can. Both created and linked EGS accs, both checked our connections, beat the prologue tested it on some other games - all works perfectly fine, not the internet problems.
The game simply closing up connections with error every time we're trying to join eachother's worlds.
Any tips or we should refund this till it's possible?

I'd suggest reinstalling or checking files.

Coop definitely works. I played through the base campaign with friends at launch and I've beaten the DLC with the same folks.

The problem is somewhere on your side. I am aware that you said "other games work fine" but do those other games have dedicated servers? Remnant 2 uses a P2P connection instead of dedicated servers so that could explain why other games work for you two but this one doesn't.

To put it another way when you play multiplayer in Remnant 2 one of you acts as the server and the other connects to it. Rather than connecting to a neutral server like in many other games you have to connect to the other person directly.

I suggest trying to connect to someone's random game or hosting your own public game and seeing if randoms are able to join.

If either of you is unable to connect to randoms then that person has some kind of connection problem.

If both of you are able to connect to randoms but are still unable to connect to each other I have no idea why that is. You can try the standard "network problem cure-all" of unplugging your modem and router, leaving them off for 5 minutes and then turning them back on one at a time starting with the modem.

If that doesn't work google how to cycle your IP address and clear the DNS cache. Search for "IPCONFIG release renew" and follow the steps.

Is your friend on Steam, EGS, PC Gamepass or Xbox?
Do you both have or don't have the DLC?
Co-op definitely works. Is one of you using Game Pass?

If either of you is offline or of the Luke on steam you can't see or join each other either, I'm playing with a friend and my sister just fine.

coop works flawlessly, you can literally skip the prologue, press esc and make your online sessions friends only and can invite a buddy and both are able to start playing immediately. and both can start whatever world you and your buddy want of course controlled by the host.

also you can invite and join your friend any time and at any level.

Nope. We're all playing through steam

The thing is, we're played some games that based on P2P connections, that's why i was flabbergasted about this one. Other player worlds was unconnectable too so i thought it was literally Remnant problem
But anyway eh, found a reason why - my PC time settings was desynchronized (lol) and after i set'em correctly we was able to connect eachother.
