Again 7 hours HC veteran progress gone.
All my Rings gone, Mutarors and Weapon Mods gone, cant teleport anymore.

I cant remember when i played the last Game that was so much fun and at the same time so broken and unfinished.
I lost 3 Chars already to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bug, still not fixed.
Still crashes and medicore performance.
Realy a huge step down in many aspects compared to Remnant 1.

Iam realy close to change my review to negative, which is a real shame because the core game is alot of fun.

Maybe its because for a long time lately i only played Games that never crashed and had none of these bugs and glitches.

So please Gunfire, where are the fixed and patches?
Stuff like this make you look like amateurs, which sucks because you have a great Series in your hands with Remnant.

It started 10 days ago or so.
The first 20 days or so i had no complains beside the crashes and performance.

I realy dont know what causes it, but it realy kills my drive to start a new run.

I heard about corrupted savefiles in Remnant 1, but i never run into that problem in 250 hours playing Remnant 1.

I dont use Discord, so no.
But i hope they know about this problem, its pretty huge so i doubt they ignore it or dont know about it.

I use Discord so I will report this for you. But for the future try to back up your saves, always a good idea!

Yeah if i have to will to play again i will for sure have the save files secured every single time.

Some more details, i had a shader error two times before this bug happened.
Which led to stuttering in the mneu and not textures on parts of the armor.

Dont know how much of a role it played here but it seems like it can be connected.

But i never play with stranger and the only modding i did was unloccing the Archon through nexusmods.

ahh so the save file was modified.

Nexusmods states that it dosent.

"This mod does NOT edit your save file. The archetype is added to your account as if you earned it normally."

Dont know how much of a role it played here but it seems like it can be connected.

disable the performance option in menus. the game disables rendering by default in the menu. they added an option to alleviate it by turning off that dumb design. so the game wont derender itself to make the menus better. i have no crashes since i turned that off. they should have optimized it better rather than relying on upscalers to get better frames. that is just lazy game design. and they had plenty of time cause like 70 percent of the game is the same as the first one. so there really should be no excuse to the crap performance. i cant even get above 100 fps on 1080p with dlss on balanced on my pc. and thats on a 2080 i9-9900k. so the optimizations are real ass.

im not going to argue the terminology around what downloading things that modify your game does, but its been known to mess up save files.

people who just play legit and dont modify game files dont tend to have any issues with their saves.

Just google for missing rings and items, its there from day 1 for others.

And when some had these problems in Remnant 1 already and now its back.
I mean its pretty clear thats a problem Gunfire Reborn Games have.

Even more when i cant think of any Game i played in the last years where i ended up with a corrupted save file.
And there were some Games where ai modded the ♥♥♥♥ out of them and nothing like that happened.

What exactly happened to cause all that? I've heard of people that have scripted 'death' stuff in hardcore characters losing all their stuff even though it is supposed to bypass that death penalty. Was it one of those?

i played both 1 and 2 and neither me nor any of my pals have ever had any issues with the base game files.

Like i said i had none in Remnant 1 too but my coop buddy lost his Char to it.
And again just google there are tons of people with the same problem.

Only because it dosent happen to you, dosent mean its working as intended.

No my Character isnt dead, the save file is messed up.
I lost alot of gear, my archetype levels are still the same i can run around in ward 13 but i cant teleport elsewhere, so pretty much unplayable.

Played without problems a couple hours earlier and loaded in later on and eh voila my Characters was messed up.

Yeah, that is what I meant. The character not being dead, and etc. To clarify as an example, if you appease the Red Prince instead of outright fighting him, you die in a scripted thing. But since it was not a 'legit' death it is not supposed to actually kill your character off. A lot of people however from what I have been reading/hearing will still respawn at the checkpoint, but their equipment and etc is missing/gone.
