Then it is pointless.
I can sort of see ONE not that good build you could make with it but not much else.
You don't need that even on SOFTCORE and Explorer provides no real meaningful utility that any other class can't provide something better instead.
I can see myself beating the game combining it with most other classes in Veteran. Not all will play off it equally well, but I don't think it works against them either.
I switch to explorer all the time when going from A to B, the movement skill is really nice
To each their own.
Not when it comes to traversing quickly or farming scrap/materials.
Which is what this archetype exists for.
If you don't want to do that, don't use it.
He definitely doesnt have the power upside of most other classes but has a lot of utility and if you are having an easy time in your playthrough, is a solid choice for the extra pickups and utility.
