Start can be on any of the worlds and the starting location on the world is also randomized, as well as the bosses/dungeons/events/items/etc that you will find there.
If you are having a bad time or finding that spot too hard, just reroll your campaign at the world stone and see if you have a better time getting your footing elsewhere.
By the time you come back to that place later on, maybe you will have an easier time when you are geared.
I did it with two other random people I joined, we failed like 30 times. During the last time, we did our run as usual, and somewhere after the 2nd half where you shoot the parts blocking the crystal, I found somewhere to drop down that saved me about two rotations of the ramp. This way, by the time my team mates caught up, I had already shot down most of the crystals.
Basically, focus fire the crystals, try to avoid fighting the zombies, and keep running down! Look for an area to drop down after the break in the middle.

Once you get to the midway point and the crystal/lightning stops moving, you need to destroy the root seed things holding it up to progress further. Most of it is just ignoring all the groups of adds that are less than 3 large, and keeping as close to the lightning as you can(lower, not upper lightning). You don't really need to kill the adds, either. Just hit them once or twice to hitstun them, then run past them. It certainly is a tough one to do solo-- my friends and I kept getting murdered by this event until we came up with a strategy.
When you get to the tree branch bridge, instead of taking the corridor, drop down to the stairs on the right; it'll save you a ton of headache.
So just take your time and explore every corner, you also find alot of loot that way.
Beside that i get your pain, Remnant 2 is alot harder in the beginning because you dont always start in the same world with the same areas like you did in Remnant 1.
You can get some stupid anyoing areas and first Bosses if you are unlucky or you build isnt suited for it well enough.
The Chimney is ass but i have some tipps for it.
1. You can shoot alot of Crystals from above before you start the whole thing.
So if you have a Sniper just shoot as much as you want from above.
But i kinda kept them in the end because they also kill alot of enmies or weaken them.
2. You can run up to the energy circle and shoot one of the tree seeds down below, this will activate the thing too and saves you a few meter, crystals and enemies to deal with.
3. Try to either clear all crystals with a solid weapon (i had the shotgun) or time the explosions so you can run by them.
4. I ignored most of the enemies after the first few waves, i try to stick to the bottom circle as close as possible.
Enemies behind you just die by left over crystals or are to slow anyways.
5. Buy 1 or 2 Ammo suppy boxes for the scenario that you end up without ammo at the bottom.
Its overall a ♥♥♥♥ mechanic because of all the instakill stuff, but when you know how to deal with it, its not that bad anymore.
goodluck.
With the first its a sci fi alien planet ship, you look for the towers and getting quest items from various dungeons to open the gate to the world boss.
It's also a tad confusing how the objective marker usually doesn't show up on your map until you've already figured out where you're meant to go.
The game literally points the way where to go. Any other way is optional.
I don't really get it why u are complain about this when you could only ask for help with this Specific dungeon
But not problem, hope u enjoy the game as everyone else
As I said the exclamation showing where I needed to be. It only shows sometimes. To me its not as intuitive as other games. It was only when I went back to the stone and went back out a few areas I got the exclamation point on the world map showing the area I needed to be.
So a lot of my frustration was coming from the fact I knew I was probably somewhere I didn't need to be. But also that this Area felt very NON Solo friendly. Because I tried it for a good hour or more trying different methods. Such as clearing the crystals before pulling the lever. Or jumping down the other side at the start and trying to jump down and skip large gaps... OR trying to be efficient and run past anything I could and only shoot the crystals. Every time I would still die which made me feel like they obviously made this area with CO-OP in mind and for SOLO its Hell.
