There's plenty for non data miners to discover as long as you play blind, and hey - we benefit from their hours and hours of testing
I dunno man
Books somewhere, puzzle, riddles... something ? Because I don't see, from any point of view, the link between the red glitched door and all this stuff
Seems there was no way to get that going without datamining the effect the things had in combination.
Progress the story and check back. Merchants refresh inventory every 30 minutes.
The devs knew that their game would get datamined just like every other game. They put this in specifically for dataminers to have something to chase. To their credit it took them a solid week to actually brute force and unlock it. The entire thing is intentional.
They aren't going to make it a backroom game but from what we see in the story it appears we are not simply jumping from one world to the next but also jumping between alternate universes of the worlds as well. In a multiversal world anything is possible even the most ridiculous things at the extremes. This is just a small easter egg and it really doesn't even break the lore lol.
Putting hints, puzzle and riddles here and there wouldn't change the challenge in any way for them, but not doing so prevents us from finishing and finding the answer on a legitimate way.
You either need to be capable enough to data mine it yourself, which is a pain to do alone with limited resources, or you have to go check on the Internet what solution did they find...
